If we are talking about the best players in the world, they can cost clubs hundreds of millions. The football scene is extremely competitive and many clubs are in search of potential ‘world beaters’. So who are the most valuable players in the world today?

The Manchester City magician has proven himself as one of the best players in the world. His dribbling, ball-control and decision making are very comparable to Messi himself. Although he isn’t the fastest over a distance, he has a quick burst of speed and can weave past the best defences in an instant. You could say his best years are still ahead of him.

Many thought that was a fluke, but his next season would prove that is not true; won the EPL golden boot again in 2018/2019 in a three-way tie. The Egyptian is hitting is prime years and is a world-class winger. Once labelled the ‘Egyptian Messi’, he is probably the player closest to fulfilling the ‘Messi’ tag given to many youngsters for their Resemblances to the Argentinian.

He is still 26 and has time to leave Spurs and kick-start his career again. If Kane can avoid fitness problems and gets a transfer to a better club, we can be sure he will be smashing goal-scoring records for many years to come. PSG bought him for €222 million so he can win them the Champions League and that dream is still very much alive. His downfall has been due to injuries and his off- the-field field antics. His habit of mocking defenders with humiliating skills (which are unnecessary) doesn’t help his case either. He had 2 major foot injuries and a torn ankle ligament over the past 2 years. He has missed countless matches for PSG, including crucial UCL ties versus Real Madrid and Man Utd; which PSG lost on aggregate.
